About Us
Green Mountain State Wolfdog Refuge was formed in early 2020 by the father and son team of Bryce and Ken Bauer. Our mission is to provide a forever home for unwanted wolfdogs. We aim to educate the public about the dangers and difficulties of wolfdog ownership, while advocating to change current legislation to end the private sale and trade of wolfdogs.
Visitation Information
For the continued peace and serenity of our animals, we are not open for tours, visitation or private photography sessions at anytime.

How To Surrender A Wolfdog
GMS Wolfdog Refuge is currently unable to accept new animal intakes or transfers.
Our founder has recently stepped into the role of primary caregiver for his aging father. To ensure our current residents continue to receive the same level of dedicated daily care, medical attention, and space they require, we are pausing all incoming intake inquiries for the foreseeable future.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we prioritize our family and the lifelong commitments we have made to our permanent resident pack.
